Yesterday marked the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Japanese Communist Party. These past 100 years have been spent consistently alleviating the suffering of the people and opposing war. As a situation similar to that prewar, when political parties other than the Japanese Communist Party dissolved and joined the Imperial Rule Assistance Association, which waged the war, unfolds, we believe that the role of the Japanese Communist Party is becoming ever more important.
