The final performance of the Cosmos Troupe's "Casino Royale - My Name is Bond".

At the same time, it was the final performance of top male actor Makaze Suzuho

and top female actor Junka, who will be leaving the Takarazuka Revue today.

I didn't know that the fans would be wearing white robes on the final performance.

The performance also included Makaze Suzuho's farewell show.

The seats were very good.

"Casino Royale" is an original by Koike Shuichiro, starring 007 James Bond.

This is the scene where Bond, played by Makaze, and Delphine, played by Jun, escape from high altitudes by parachute.

Koike's lyrics, which had the two singing while parachuting in the "sky," about wanting to fly in the "sky" forever, sounded as if they were speaking for the two who were leaving the Cosmos troupe.

In addition to the top two, the last performers to leave the troupe today were the Cosmos troupe leader Tsukasa Kotobuki, Hikaru Akioto, Ryu Shido, Nagi Sumikaze, and Haku Kofu, a total of seven people.

At the end of the farewell show, everyone was called by name as they came down the grand staircase.

After they reached the bottom, they said their goodbyes.

Everyone's greetings were full of love for Takarazuka, the Cosmos troupe, and Takarazuka fans.

Everyone else was wearing black kimonos and green hakama, but only Makaze was wearing a tailcoat.

I asked a friend who went with me and he said that it was up to the individual to choose.

At the end, everyone performed "Takarazuka Forever" as the finale.

The performance lasted five hours, with one break in between, but it went by in a flash.

For the seven members for whom this was their last performance, the five hours must have flown by in an instant.

I imagined that at every moment of the performance, especially with the two top stars speaking and singing their lines and singing, they were thinking that this was their last time, and it brought tears to my eyes.

Makaze Suzuho and Junka, thank you so much for all your hard work.

By the way, I am hard of hearing and use hearing aids in both ears.

I found out about a group on a blog that was for people who want to enjoy Takarazuka even if they are deaf, so I joined.

I learned that the group provides a "viewing support tablet" service for various theater performances, not just Takarazuka.

This is a service that lends out tablets with lines on them.

In my case, I have a hard time hearing the sound through the microphone, and I can hardly hear the lyrics, especially in the singing parts of Takarazuka, so I have put up with it until now.

This time, I applied in advance and used it for the first time.

Of course, I alternate between looking at the stage and the tablet, but for the first time I was able to understand all the lyrics and enjoy Takarazuka perfectly.

This tablet viewing support project is apparently being carried out jointly by the NPO Media Access Support Center, a designated organization by the Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and Takarazuka Revue (Hankyu Corporation).

This group is currently asking various theaters for help.

This is good news for someone like me.
